MY STORY
Meet Shakilah Rene’ Williams
Born and nurtured in the close-knit community of rural South Georgia, Miss Shakilah Rene’ Williams, at 41 years old, has discovered her calling: to uplift, motivate, and inspire individuals to become their best selves every day. Her passion for making a difference has been evident throughout her 23-year career in the social services sector, where she has worked tirelessly to enhance the lives of those with mental health issues, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities, both in private practice and the community at large.
Professional Achievements
Armed with a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University in Thomasville, GA, via Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, FL, Shakilah has achieved numerous milestones in her professional journey. Holding certifications as; a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC II), a Medication Assisted Treatment Specialist (MATS), and now a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Professional Counselors' Supervisor (CPCS), a certified life coach, and a proud business owner.

As the founder and owner of Truth Is Therapy & More, LLC, Shakilah wears many hats: Clinician, Clinical Supervisor, and Mindset Transformation Coach. She provides both therapeutic and coaching services to high-value individuals while balancing her role as a full-time mother to two lively and ambitious sons.

Shakilah has always had a deep-seated desire to create a space where individuals can relate, understand, and connect. Her journey of personal growth began when she realized she needed to focus on herself to truly help others. By adopting a whole-self approach—addressing mind, body, and spirit—she found balance and encouraged others to do the same. Her integration of mindfulness, self-care, art, and spirituality has strengthened her connection with her higher self, through God Almighty.

My Mindset transformation coaching program 'Becoming Her' is a powerful tool for individuals who want to take a wise approach toward life and take control of their lives. 'Becoming Her' is designed to help elite individuals develop a 1% percenter mindset that is focused on planning and strategizing for success, growth, and abundance. You will learn how to identify and overcome limiting beliefs, negative self-talk, and self-sabotaging behaviors that may be holding you back from meeting your authentic self and becoming the best version of yourself. This program is about shifting your mindset.
